Lions Burn Care Center

In 1968, with the help of local Lions Clubs, UMC brought burn care services to Nevada. Today, the center remains the state’s only Verified Burn Center, providing inpatient and outpatient care for Nevadans and patients from surrounding states. We offer Nevada's largest and most experienced burn care staff, with nearly 100 clinical team members dedicated to saving and improving lives.  For our team, burn care isn’t an opportunity to make a profit; it’s about providing lifesaving care for the people who need us most.

Our dedicated health care professionals offer the highest level of care for patients with burn injuries of any size, frostbite, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis (TENS), necrotizing fasciitis, soft tissue injures, and those at risk for multi-system organ failure.

UMC Children's Hospital

Children need specialized care that focuses on their unique needs, involves their parents from start to finish, and is provided in a place designed to be kid-sized and child-friendly. They require extra time, additional monitoring, child-specific medications, and caregivers with the skills and compassion to understand their psychological and physical well-being.

Quick & Primary Care

With locations across the valley, UMC has clinics for when care can't wait, and for the ongoing care that will help you manage your day-to-day health.

At nine Quick Care locations, urgent care is available on a walk-in basis for minor emergencies such as minor cuts and fractures, colds and other respiratory problems, ear infections, and abdominal pain. Each facility is equipped with on-site X-ray services.

Our seven Primary Care locations offer trusted neighborhood physicians who focus on routine care, chronic disease management and preventive medicine. UMC encourages relationships with trusted primary care providers who can coordinate care with specialists, manage disease processes, and order diagnostic tests.
