UMC offers a full suite of amenities for your comfort and convenience.
UMC features an award-winning cafe, convenient vending machines, and room service to allow visitors to dine with our hospital guests.
We also offer a nondenominational Reflection Room for visitors located on the first floor of our main hospital campus. Each clinical unit offers its own visitor lobby, providing visitors with comfortable, relaxing spaces throughout our campus.
CAFE @ UMC
The Cafe @ UMC offers a variety of entrees, sandwiches made to order, a salad bar, and a large assortment of desserts. The cafe is open to the public and is located on the first floor of the hospital near the main entrance and admitting.
An important part of healing is being with family and friends. The Cafe @ UMC offers a room service menu for patients and visitors. Please call 702-383-2341 to order room service, or to learn more about our in-room dining options. If your visitors would like to eat their meal in your room, all they need to do is stop by the Dietary Office at least 90 minutes before the meal to make arrangements.

TELEPHONES
Bedside telephones are available in every patient room and can be used to call both inside and outside of the hospital.
- To call a department within the hospital, dial the four-digit extension.
- To make a local call outside of the hospital, dial “9” and then the number.
- Long-distance calls can be placed as collect calls or they can be charged to your home phone/calling card. Dial “0” for operator assistance.
Callers may reach your room by calling the hospital operator and asking for your room number. To reach the operator from outside of the hospital, dial 702-383-2000. To limit who may contact you during your hospital stay, please see Patient Directory Service.
A group of payphones is also available in the main lobby of the hospital across from the Admitting Department.
