Shawn Tsuda, MD, FACS

Shawn Tsuda, MD, FACS is a board-certified general surgeon and Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Nevada, School of Medicine in Las Vegas. He is fellowship-trained in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Tsuda is dedicated to education and research, and is the director of the Surgical Skills and Simulation Laboratory for the School of Medicine’s Surgical Residency Program. He is active at the national level in the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), the American College of Surgeons (ACS), and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgery (SAGES). He has authored or served as editor for multiple publications in the area of obesity, weight loss surgery, and surgical skills training.

Robin Morello, RN, CBN

Robin Morello, RN.CBN, understands the feelings of frustration and sadness that overwhelm you when you’re 100 pounds overweight. Like you, Robin had put herself through every diet imaginable, only to see the numbers on her scale continue to climb. Five years ago, she had weight-loss surgery and is now holding steady at 130 pounds. She was so inspired by her own journey that she wanted to help others on the same path. Today, she is one of the only certified bariatric nurses in Las Vegas, using her firsthand experience and training to guide her patients through this life-changing process.
