Tammy Wert, RN, an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) trauma nurse here at UMC, was honored at the 61st Annual Clark County Medical Society President’s Installation & Awards Ceremony on June 27 at the World Market Center.

Tammy was selcted by the committee for the life-saving care she has provided over the past twenty years. Tammy cares for patients and their families in the most diligent, compassionate and honest way with some of the best clinical skills ever seen.

A compassionate and selfless caregiver, Tammy also purchased televisions and radios at her own expense for 14 ICU rooms at UMC in order to help patients retain some autonomy while recovering from traumatic injuries.
