Abby Hudema, RN, UMC’s Pediatric Trauma Program Coordinator and EMS Liaison at the UMC Trauma and Burn Center, was awarded the Winged Heart Award by the Clark County Medical Society on June 29, 2013. This award was presented to Abby for demonstrating unwavering commitment to quality health care in Southern Nevada.

Abby has served our community as an RN for 22 years. She has lived in Las Vegas and been a nurse in Clark County for 16 years, specializing in Emergency, Labor and Delivery and Trauma nursing. Abby’s work on civic task forces such as the Pedestrian Safety Task Force has helped our community collect, interpret and recommend to our elected offcials different ways to improve the safety of all Clark County residents.
