Kaposi's Sarcoma
Description:
Malignant neoplasm that starts as soft purplish or brownish spots on the feet and then spreads from the skin to the lymph nodes and internal organs. Until the early 1980's it occurred almost exclusively among older Jewish, Italian and black men, but after that time it increased in incidence and is now one of the common manifestations of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).
