Elastic bands with a central protruding button, worn on both wrists, that provide acupressure over a nerve point thought to reduce motion sickness; these bands have been used in the British merchant marine of years, and are becoming more widely distributed in the United States; limited evidence suggests that the bands may also help some patients with nausea and vomitting during pregnancy.
