UMC's Heart Center
UMC has opened its Heart Center of Excellence, which is a state-of-the-art cardiovascular and cardiac care unit. The $400,000 remodel turned previously semi-private rooms into 12 new private rooms staffed with specialists dedicated to the special needs of patients with heart problems. This is just one more way UMC is taking care of the community – one "beat" at a time.
