UMC Public Forums: Share Ideas with Hospital, County Leaders
Clark County and University Medical Center officials are hosting two public forums at the Clark County Government Center next week.
These forums will provide the public with an opportunity to have their questions answered and share their thoughts on UMC programs. The forums are part of the outreach effort that will provide hospital and county leaders with feedback on important hospital programs as we continue to look for ways to improve hospital operations.
The forums will be held at the Clark County Government Center at 500 S. Grand Central Parkway in downtown Las Vegas on Monday, July 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to noon.
“These forums give the public a chance to meet with us and let us know what they think about the public hospital and its programs,” UMC interim-CEO Kathy Silver said.
County Manager Virginia Valentine said, “Hearing the ideas and suggestions of those who work at UMC, work with UMC and use UMC will help us make informed decisions about the future of the hospital.”
