UMC Partners with BODIES…The Exhibition in honor of 75th Year Anniversary
 
Las Vegas - University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC) is partnering with BODIES…The Exhibition throughout the month of September to honor the only non-profit, public healthcare organization in Las Vegas. From Sept. 1 through 30, Las Vegans can attend the BODIES exhibit, showcasing 21 whole-body human specimens and 260 organs all innovatively preserved, while donating back to their local hospital; partial ticket proceeds will be donated to UMC in honor of the hospital’s 75th Year Anniversary. BODIES is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. located at the Tropicana.
An adult ticket cost $24, where $4 will be donated and a child’s ticket is $16, where $2 will be donated back to UMC. Being the county’s only non-profit hospital, UMC allocates donated funds for patient care and new technological and medical equipment improving the quality of healthcare given to families and friends.
