Information:

Children OVER the age of 2 can eat low-fat and nonfat foods. Fruits and vegetables are healthy snack foods. The key with children is to teach them healthy eating habits early, and hopefully those habits will continue throughout their life.

A certain amount of fat is necessary to help absorb some of the vitamins, including vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E, and vitamin K.
